This Privacy Policy explains what information Glam & Beyond Pro collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to the Glam & Beyond Pro mobile application (the "App") for iOS.

Glam & Beyond Pro is a study application that helps esthetics students and licensed professionals prepare for state board licensing exams and continue their professional learning. The App provides practice questions, subject quizzes, full-length practice exams, written answer explanations, an audio review mode, and progress tracking.
When you choose to generate an AI explanation for a question (for example, by tapping "AI Explanation" or "Lock it in with AI"), the following is sent to our third-party AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, which operates the Claude AI service:
Anthropic processes this to generate a written explanation that is returned to the App. This data is exam content and your answer choice. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers to Anthropic. You can read about Anthropic's practices at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
AI explanations are an optional feature. If you do not use it, no question data is sent to Anthropic.
When you use Listen Mode, question and explanation text is converted to speech using a server-side text-to-speech service so it can be played back as audio. The text processed is the same study content described above; it does not include your personal account details.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising, and the App contains no third-party advertising.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard safeguards.
You can delete your account at any time directly inside the App: go to Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your account record and associated synced progress from our database. You do not need to email us to delete your data, though you may contact us at tvandang@gmail.com if you need help.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at tvandang@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local Data Protection Authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Glam & Beyond Pro is intended for adult students and licensed professionals preparing for esthetics licensing exams. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at tvandang@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Our service providers, including Supabase, Anthropic, Apple, and RevenueCat, may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the data protection commitments of these providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
